 The first signs of a bedbug infestation is waking up with bedbug bites on your body. Bedbugs needs regular blood meals and when they bite they inject anticoagulant to prevent blood from clotting and an anaesthetic so you don’t feel the bite. So these are the common signs of bedbug infestation. 

Blood spots - Little blood spots on bed sheets from the bugs becoming crushed or the wounds they leave on you can bleed. 
Fecal Spots - Leaving feral deposits that look like tiny black dots, These can also help locate nesting sites around the bedroom

Odours - Bedbug gives off hormonal scents when disturbed, which makes it simple for trained dogs to detect in cases of heavy infestation.
Shed Skin - Bedbugs go through several life cycles, leaving behind their shed skin. 
Eggs - Bedbug eggs are cream white and oval shaped. Bedbugs can lay up to 500 eggs in their life time. Bedbugs usually lay around 1-5 eggs a day.
